Our modern timber chalet sleeps four comfortably and offers generous shared spaces — from the open-plan living area to the balcony with lake and mountain views. Outside, the enclosed private back garden (a rare find in central Vitznau) gives you a quiet spot for long, easy meals together in the fresh Swiss air.

You’ll be based in a peaceful neighbourhood just a short walk from the lake, cafés, the Rigi Bahn Station and the ferry to Lucerne — convenience without the crowds. It’s the ideal base for long weekends, walking holidays or slow-travel breaks with people you enjoy spending time with. And if you want to elevate your stay, our private sauna and hot tub suite next door is available at a reduced rate for Chalet Oz guests.

Very comfortable and a good location

This residence is very comfortable and has a good location. It is only about 200 meters away from the mountaineering railway station in Mt. Rigi Mountain, and you can walk directly to it. You can see the lake in the room, and the sunset in the afternoon is so beautiful. The host is very nice and the communication is smooth. They also left a welcome gift when you check in. I highly recommend you to choose it.

Quite a quick drive to Luzern. Vitznau was peaceful and beautiful. Karen, the host, was very friendly and responsive. The place was structurally beautiful and nice, with a comfortable space. I would definitely come back, 10/10.
