We had an amazing 4 night stay in Chalet Oz at the end of August 2025. The hosts are such a lovely, friendly family who are right on hand if you need anything. The welcome basket is a nice touch on arrival. There is a relaxing spa/wellness with hot tub which can be booked separately to the chalet. This is a wonderful addition to make use of after a long day exploring. The village is beautiful and the perfect location for going up the mountain on the Rigi or over to Luzern on the boat. A short drive took us to the Tierpark, which was a fun animal park where you can get close to the animals and feed the deer. We shall definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Karen's place. The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful and well-equipped the cabin is. Karen proactively reached out before our trip to make sure we had a smooth and easy check-in experience. From the thoughtful welcome goodies to the comfortable beds and pristine kitchen, every detail was taken care of. The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the surrounding area in Vitznau is simply stunning. We truly felt at home and would love to come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Chalet Oz. Everything is in immaculate condition and set up brilliantly, we thought even better than described. Our 2 children loved it and there was lots of equipment for them that made it easier. We absolutely loved the location, it was a wonderful base for exploring the area. We recommend taking the boats round the lake for a day and even just wandering around Vitznau and Weggis is a real joy. Excellent welcome and communication from the owners but nothing too much.
