2. The wellness suite is exclusively yours

Once availability is confirmed by Karen, make your booking here. Harmony Wellness is then reserved solely for you during the daily opening hours.

3. Arrive and relax

Your welcome basket is ready. Your wellness key is in the secure lockbox. The suite is exclusively yours for your entire stay. Simply arrive, settle in and use it whenever you wish during the daily opening hours.

What Your Wellness Sessions Include

The Hot Tub Pavilion Heated water, sheltered glass and timber structure. Completely private.

Finnish Sauna Traditional dry heat. Takes approximately 60 minutes to reach operating temperature — WhatsApp Karen your preferred start time and they'll prepare it, when possible. Automatically switches off after 4 hours for safety.

Revitalising Shower Cool down between sauna rounds. Refresh after the hot tub.

Relaxation Area Herbal teas, comfortable seating, space to just be still between sessions.

Your Own Food & Drinks Welcome Bring your own snacks, drinks, or treats into the wellness suite. Many guests prepare a small picnic to enjoy during their session.

At Chalet Oz Between Wellness Sessions

Morning routine Wake naturally. Make coffee in your own kitchen. Sit on the balcony with lake views. No rush to check out or vacate.

Explore Vitznau Walk to the lake (5 minutes). Forest trails from the doorstep. Village restaurants for lunch. Or simply stay in and read.

Prepare your own meals Fully equipped kitchen. Local produce from the village supermarket. Cook what you want, when you want.

Complete comfort Two bedrooms, comfortable beds, quality linens, washer/dryer, Netflix. Everything you need for a proper stay, not just a night's sleep.

Important Information

Exclusive wellness suite access Harmony Wellness Suite is reserved exclusively for you throughout your entire stay. Use it as often as you like, whenever you like, during the daily opening hours.

Number of guests The stated prices apply to a maximum of 4 guests at Chalet Oz. The wellness suite can accommodate your group privately throughout your stay.

Children Children under 16 may use the wellness facilities only when accompanied by an adult.

Care and preparation The wellness suite is fully prepared before your arrival. Towels and bathrobes are available throughout your stay. Full deep clean takes place after checkout.

Sauna preparation The sauna requires approximately 60 minutes to reach operating temperature. Let Karen know when you'd like to use it and they can prepare it in advance, if possible, or you can start it yourself when ready.

Parking Parking at the front of the family house. Slight uphill walk to Chalet Oz entrance.

The price includes a CHF100 cleaning fee for Chalet Oz and Harmony Wellness. Available from February, March, November and December and April to October, subject to availability.

Payment & booking conditions – Wellness Getaway

The Wellness Getaway is booked via the Chalet Oz booking system.

– Deposit of CHF 200 due at the time of booking
– Balance payable no later than 6 weeks before arrival
– For bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, the full amount is payable in advance
– Payment by credit card or bank transfer

Your booking is confirmed and binding once the deposit has been received.

Cancellation policy – Wellness Getaway

Free cancellation: Cancellations made more than 5 days before check-in will receive a full refund.

50% refund: Cancellations made 3 to 4 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of the total amount.

No refund: Cancellations made less than 2 days before check-in are non-refundable.

No-show: If the guest does not arrive on the check-in date (no-show), the booking will be forfeited without refund.

Cleaning fees & tourist taxes: Cleaning fees are included in the total price and will be fully refunded in the event of a cancellation. Tourist taxes are not payable in advance and are charged separately upon arrival at Chalet Oz

Extenuating circumstances: In the event of exceptional or unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, flight cancellations, or force majeure), a partial or full refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis, particularly if the cancelled dates can be rebooked.
Supporting documentation may be required.

FAQ: Wellness Getaway

What's the difference between the Spa & Sauna Getaway and booking Chalet Oz separately? The Spa & Sauna Getaway includes exclusive access to Harmony Wellness Suite throughout your entire stay. The suite is yours alone — use it as often as you like, whenever you like (during the daily opening times). Better value than booking separately.

Can we book just the wellness suite without staying at Chalet Oz? Yes. Make your reservation via the Harmony Wellness website.

How often can we use the wellness suite during our stay? As often as you like. The suite is exclusively reserved for you throughout your entire stay. Morning sauna, afternoon hot tub, evening relaxation — your schedule, your choice.

Do we need to book specific time slots? No. Unlike the "Spa & Sauna Experience" option, the Spa & Sauna Getaway gives you exclusive access throughout your stay. No time slots to coordinate — just use it whenever you wish during the daily opening hours.

Is the wellness suite private during our stay? Completely. No other guests have access during your stay. It's reserved exclusively for you from check-in to check-out.

Do we need to bring anything? Bathrobes, towels, and slippers are provided. Just bring yourselves, swimwear if preferred, and any food or drinks you'd like during your wellness time.

Can we eat in the wellness suite? Yes, you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks into Harmony Wellness Suite.

What if we want the sauna ready when we arrive? Let Karen know your preferred sauna start time in advance (by WhatsApp) and she'll prepare it when possible (it takes about 60 minutes to heat up).

Is this suitable for a romantic getaway? Very much so. Many couples book the Wellness Getaway for anniversaries, special occasions, or simply quality time together.

Can we book for just one night? The Spa & Sauna Getaway is a 2-night minimum package to give you the full experience with exclusive wellness suite access throughout your stay.
