Karen and Philipp Zimmermann

We are a Swiss-Australian family, and our household language is a unique blend of English and Swiss – what we like to call Swinglish!

Philipp, originally from Lucerne, has spent most of his life in Vitznau, while Karen joined him from Australia in 2003. Together, we have twin girls, Alessandra and Maliyah, who love welcoming new faces and making new friends.

Our family also includes two rescue dogs, Milla and Ossi. While Milla tends to keep to herself, Ossi occasionally likes to make his presence known!

We’re a fun-loving family with a passion for traveling and connecting with people, which is one of the inspirations behind creating Chalet Oz.
