Terms and Conditions for Chalet Oz
General Terms
- Property Description:
Chalet Oz is a private vacation rental offering modern amenities, including two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a private balcony with lake views, and a garden seating area with mountain views. - Eligibility:
Guests must be at least 18 years old to book Chalet Oz. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the stay. - Booking Policy:
- Reservations can be made online or by contacting us directly.
- Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
- The maximum occupancy of the chalet is 4 guests.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
- Payments:
- Payments must be made in full at the time of booking via Credit Card (Stripe).
- Pricing includes local tourist taxes.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Full Refund:Cancellations made more than 5 days before the check-in date will receive a full refund.
- 50% Refund:Cancellations made between 3 and 4 days before the check-in date will receive a 50% refund.
- No Refund:Cancellations made less than 2 days before check-in are non-refundable.
- No-Show Policy:
- Guests who fail to arrive on the check-in date will forfeit their booking without a refund.
Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-In:
- Check-in is available from 3:00 PM. Guests must notify the host of any delays or late arrivals.
- Check-Out:
- Check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM. Late check-outs may result in additional charges.
- Guests are required to leave the property in a clean and orderly condition.
House Rules
- Occupancy:
- The chalet accommodates a maximum of 4 guests. Additional guests are not permitted.
- Prohibited Activities:
- Smoking, vaping, and drug use are strictly prohibited inside the chalet.
- Parties, events, or loud gatherings are not allowed.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Noise Policy:
- Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AMto ensure a peaceful environment for all guests and neighbours.
- Damages:
- Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay. Costs for repairs or replacements will be charged accordingly. Please ensure you have Liability Insurance as part of your travel insurance.
Amenities and Services
- Included Amenities:
- Linens, towels, and basic toiletries
- Fully equipped kitchen with cookware and appliances
- Complimentary Wi-Fi and streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, Zattoo)
- Starter supplies: tea, coffee pods, spices, and cleaning products
- Optional Add-Ons:
- Access to Harmony Wellness Suite at a discounted rate (from March 2025, subject to availability)
- Guided tours or additional local experiences (on request)
Health and Safety
- Fire Safety:
- The property is equipped with a fire extinguisher and fire blanket.
- Liability Disclaimer:
- Chalet Oz is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or damages incurred during your stay. Guests are advised to act responsibly and use the facilities as intended.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Cleaning Fees:
- A cleaning fee of CHF 70per stay will be applied at the time of booking.
- Additional cleaning services during the stay can be arranged for an extra fee.
- Property Condition:
- Guests must leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. Excessive cleaning required after check-out may result in additional charges.
Privacy Policy
- Personal Information:
- Guest information is collected solely for booking and communication purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
- Security:
- Payment and personal data are handled securely in compliance with Swiss law.
