That can be particularly useful if you want to know whether the two-bedroom layout will suit your family or friends, how parking works, how close you are to the Rigi railway and boat landing, or whether private wellness is available during your stay.
We can give you an actual answer rather than making you interpret a listing and hope for the best.
What are the direct-booking payment terms?
If you book more than six weeks before arrival, a CHF200 deposit secures your Chalet Oz reservation.
The remaining balance is due six weeks before arrival. If you book within six weeks of your stay, the full amount is payable when you book.
Payment can be made securely by credit card through Stripe or by bank transfer.

Can you help before we decide whether Chalet Oz is right for us?
Absolutely. Sometimes the question that decides a booking is surprisingly specific.
Will four adults be comfortable? Can we bring a travel cot? How does the uphill path from the parking space work? Is there somewhere to wash hiking clothes? Can we reach Mt Rigi without driving?
Because we know both the chalet and Vitznau, we can tell you plainly what works and what doesn’t.
Chalet Oz accommodates a maximum of four guests, with one queen bedroom and one twin bedroom. A travel cot and high chair are available on request, and the chalet has a full kitchen, washer-dryer, private balcony and fenced garden.

Do guests receive local information before arriving?
Yes. Every Chalet Oz guest receives our digital guidebook before their stay, with practical chalet information and our own suggestions for Vitznau and the surrounding area.

Can I add private wellness when booking Chalet Oz directly?
Yes.
Harmony Wellness Suite is a short walk from Chalet Oz on the same family property, with a sauna, private hot tub, revitalising shower and relaxation room.
Wellness is booked separately and is subject to availability. During your reserved time, the suite is completely private for your group.
Chalet Oz guests receive CHF25 off each standard Harmony Wellness booking.
If private wellness is an important part of your stay, it’s worth asking us about availability before you book your dates rather than hoping there is space once you arrive.
Do I have to book direct?
Of course not. Airbnb and Booking.com are useful places to discover and compare accommodation, and Chalet Oz is available through both.
