Where exactly is Chalet Oz? We’re in Vitznau, on Lake Lucerne in central Switzerland, within easy walking distance of the lake, the boat landing, village restaurants and the Mt Rigi railway. It’s central without being noisy, tucked just behind the family house.
How many guests can stay? The chalet comfortably suits up to four guests, with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and both indoor and outdoor space to spread out between excursions.
Is it suitable for families? Yes — the two-bedroom layout, kitchen, fenced garden, and extras like a travel cot or high chair on request make it a comfortable base for families with children of most ages.
Can we add the wellness suite? Yes. The private wellness suite next door — sauna, hot tub and quiet relaxation space — can be booked separately alongside your stay, whenever suits you, whether that’s every evening or just once as a treat.
What about parking? Free parking is available at the front of the family house, with a short uphill walk from there to the chalet entrance — worth bearing in mind if you’re arriving with a lot of luggage or young children.
